We are firm believers in DD! It has worked amazing in our once bad marriage! We now love each other more than ever. I have so much respect for my husband & his authority. I love being married to a man that can take care of me! We try to keep our marriage like they did in 1950s! The divorce rate was almost unheard of! HOH took control and the wives respected them. If things were not done according to the way the HOH/Owner wanted them, discipline was in order!

Howdy! This blog post could not be written much better!
ReplyDeleteLooking through this article reminds me of my previous roommate!
He constantly kept preaching about this. I will forward
this post to him. Pretty sure he'll have a great read. I appreciate you for sharing!
Here is my web blog 24option
Decades ago, at about the same time the Surgeon General issued the first report on smoking, my mother sent me to the grocery store for something she needed. At the time, I was a teenager with a driver's license and still looking for an excuse to drive.
ReplyDeleteAs luck would have it that day, I happened to walk into the store behind two middle aged women. One was telling the other about a conversation she had with her daughter. Apparently, her daughter was a smoker, while her son-in-law was not.
According the woman her daughter said that her son-in-law told her daughter that if she didn't stop smoking, he was going to start spanking her until she quit!
From what I could gather, although the shocked daughter sought sympathy from her mother, she didn't get it. The mother seemed to be approve of her daughter being spanked. Then, that was the mid-1960s.
Of course, all these years later, I still have absolutely no idea how the couple resolved their differences. Nevertheless, that particular snippet of life serves to illustrate how different attitudes toward spanking were back then.
